Bringing a life into this world is an incredible feeling, something someone never forgets. The thing we do forget is just how small our precious bundles of joy were, and as much as we want to hold onto those memories of when they're first born, those memories are often pushed aside for the new memories we create with our children and their day to day lives.

It is so important to capture all their tiny little details; from how small or big their feet were, to those gorgeous little dimples in their cheeks, or their natural beautiful long eyelashes, or that little button nose.

Phone cameras are getting better and better as years go by but I promise you they still are no where near as good as a professional kit with the correct lighting/equipment.

My lifestyle sessions are available in the comfort of your own home, or in my studio.

My newborn sessions are studio based only (the amount of equipment to bring would take over your living room).

When is the best time to book a session?

Every photographer works differently in regards to booking. I personally work better when parents drop me a message once baby has been born to arrange a photoshoot, or perhaps a few weeks before due date. Whilst this works for most people, if you're wanting to get a session confirmed and secured it's best to drop me a message after your 20 weeks scan to get a potential date booked in then once your baby has been born drop me a message for a confirmed date.

Either way is okay with me and whilst I am busy, I will always strive to get you booked in if I can.

What is the difference between lifestyle and newborn Photoshoot?

A lifestyle photoshoot is suitable for babies ages 4 weeks and over. The use of some props/wraps are included but this is dependant on babies age/milestones/sleep etc.

A newborn photoshoot is done when your baby is aged 5 days minimum - 28 days maximum. The sooner your baby is photographed the better the chances of a successful photoshoot - of course each baby are their own person and all react differently. With a newborn photoshoot the use of props/wraps are included and a different selection of styles will be used to create different photos for you to cherish.

Different colours are available and I am forever growing my collection.

What are the prices for a photoshoot?

A lifestyle photoshoot session is £40 and will take between 1-2 hours to complete depending on baby.

A newborn photoshoot is £50 and will take between 1-3 hours depending on baby.

No images/products are included in these prices - this is the session price.

Minimum spend £145 on prints/packages/wall-art/album

What do I need to bring with me?

If you're attending my studio, I will have the studio all warm ready for you and your baby. Refreshments will be offered to you throughout the session - Please let me know in advance if you have any dietary requirements as this is something I can cater to but is not kept in stock.

Please bring milk if you are formula feeding, a dummy if your baby uses one, a change of clothes if you wish baby to be photographed at the end in a particular set of clothes and any special items you may want to use in the photoshoots.

For parents I ask that you wear a solid black top if possible as providing baby is still settled towards end of the session this is another photo opportunity.

It is important to note that any baby session is baby led and not rushed - the safety of your baby is paramount and if baby is not comfortable doing a particular pose/wearing an item this will not happen under my watch.
